A marine research center used our intelligent crystallization platform to study seawater particle crystallization, conduct thermodynamic and kinetic studies on multi-temperature and multi-component water-salt phase equilibrium processes, and improve basic theories; to carry out basic research on the application of modern separation methods such as supergravity, supercritical extraction, and membrane separation in element enrichment and separation processes, providing support for the technical research on the application of modern enrichment and separation methods in the extraction of seawater chemical resources; and to conduct research on the laws governing flow, transport, and reaction and their interactions in the process of material transformation, establish multi-scale simulation methods, and realize quantitative scale-up simulation of processes and equipment in multiphase complex systems during the utilization of seawater chemical resources.

The 2D process imaging probe system (PVM) enables real-time, accurate qualitative and quantitative measurements of particle morphology and size, thereby deepening understanding of the process and facilitating its optimization, control, and scale-up. Beyond solid crystals, it also has broad application prospects in characterizing other non-solid processes such as bubbles, foams, emulsions, droplets, polymers, and flow fields. The 2D process imaging probe system is suitable for process research, product development, and improvement in production. It is particularly suitable for monitoring, optimizing, and controlling processes with high particle concentrations and those involving the production of non-transparent particles.

2D Process Imaging Probe System / Technical Specifications

 

· Measurement range: 2 micrometers to 2000 micrometers (standard); expandable to 5 millimeters (customizable to user needs; depends on lens magnification, camera, etc.)

· Measurement method: Real-time online measurement of crystal morphology, average size, statistical distribution of grain size (D10, D50, D90, D120, etc.), cumulative distribution, aspect ratio, etc. (display parameters can be customized according to user needs).

· Concentration measurement: Up to 50% solid particle concentration (depending on particle shape)

· Operating temperature: -10- 120(standard; customizable according to user requirements)

· Explosion-proof design, extended probe, and data cable can be extended to 100 meters (all can be customized according to user needs).
